KK Wedding Services have been asked by Kent News and Media Group to supply a
car for their Bride of the year Competition 2009.
In our formal wear department the new waistcoat colours
are proving popular
these are colours and patterns from the Paris Show.
Analysis of our figures show black tail coats (Morning
suits) are continuing to be the top choice for weddings with
black Frock coats a very close second. Top hats are
declining in use, but patent leather shoes are very popular.
    Here at KK Wedding Services we are always trying to bring you more choice. So when Karen said we need to extend our
    range of vehicles, Keith decided to do a search for rare cars.

    We found many websites featuring Citroen Traction Avant cars so we decided to go back even further and found a 1930
    Citroen C4F. A very rare car and only one other wedding site using them. In fact we have only been able to trace four other cars
    in total in the UK. It is ideal for weddings as it has plenty of headroom and plenty of floor space in the rear.

    The car has been owned by one family for
    over 70+ years. It is now undergoing major renovation work and it will be ready for hire in 2009.

    This is a treat not to be missed. The picture to the side is of a similar car but ours will be in burgundy and is right
    hand drive.

The Draw took place today in our Formal Wear hire unit at Oakdale Road.
We are pleased to announce Miss Ann Marie Dryland of Herne Bay as the
winner of our draw who is getting married in 2009.
The winning number was drawn by Messrs. Peter and John Cody, great-grandsons of pioneer aviator  S. F. Cody.
Peter and John were delivering a Citroen C4f  vintage 1931car to us that had been in their family for more than 70 years.
After renovation it and will be available for wedding hire in 2009.
